Fondest Childhood Memory – at 16, playing center winning the Carbondale Highschool’s first ever state championship despite being undefeated during the season (they were still 15-point underdog, winning on a buzzer beater)

Why did you decide to grow your hair - Because I'm afraid it won't grow back, my last hurrah
Do you believe in luck – I'm not crazy superstitious but I believe in luck to some extent
Inspiration – his mother who has never seen him play during his adolescent years because she was very sick and was on dialysis for the most part (eventually getting a kidney transplant)
Most Influential in Sports – in basketball, his Dad and brothers, Andy and Mark
Coaches who played a significant role in basketball - Pat Price (who at one point was Ireland's national team coach), Tim Capstraw, Ron Jacobs, and Jong Uichico
Biggest Challenge – (in basketball) trying to get a degree and playing basketball at the same time (college was different in the US and basketball was taking up most of his time); in life, getting over his sister’s demise (lost her to cancer in 2010)
Proudest – when his Parents saw him receive his college diploma
